Welcome people! Welcome to Downtown Music Mountain, your new favorite blog! My name is Cory and while this is a solo project from me, I want to create a community where everyone can come together and enjoy the music I talk about. This first post will serve as an introduction to myself. MY FAVORITE BANDS 1. Hail the Sun My favorite band since late 2015, I love everything they have put out, especially Wake, their crowning achievement in my opinion. 2. The Venus De Melos Definitely the most obscure band on this list. As put on their Bandcamp, they deliver a plethora of sounds and emotions. Their roller coaster of instrumentals show what math rock truly is. 3. The Fall of Troy As picky as I am, The Fall of Troy really hit it off for me. Aggressive yet tame at points.
